Emily F. Whiting

Emily F. Whiting, 68, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away at her home on Sunday, April 18, 2021 with her family by her side.

Emily was born August 29, 1952 in Stephenville, Texas, a daughter of Paul L. and Marguerite (Depew) Robins.

Emily enjoyed working with the residents at Magic City Enterprises. Her many interests included making crafts and she was an excellent musician. She will be remembered for the love that she shared for family and friends, and for living her life to the fullest. She “enjoyed the ride”!

Emily is survived by her loving husband, Danny K. Whiting, Sr.; mother, Marguerite Robins; daughter, Kristene (Justin) Binkley and their two children, Dakota and Cody Binkley; and step-son, Danny (Sarah) Whiting, Jr. and their children, Elizabeth and Ella Whiting.

She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Robins; and brothers, Mark and Paul Robins.

Services are entrusted to Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.

Esther Ruth Evans, age 80, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021, at Aspen Winds Assisted Living Community in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Esther was born on December 3, 1940 in San Mateo, California to Ove and Bertha Christophersen.

She was preceded in death by her husband of many years, James Evans, daughter, Kelly Evans, brother Melvin Christophersen, sisters Alice Lovitt and Elaine Rego, and infant brother David Christophersen.

She is survived by her daughter, Keri (Darold) Gamble; sons, Dave and Tim (Kathy) Evans; brother Leroy (Janice) Christophersen; sisters Dorothy (Larry) Shaw, Maryann Medeiros, Dora Achenbach; grandchildren, Kaci (Jake) Sierocki, Blake Evans, Christopher Evans, Autumn Evans, Danny Evans, and Ben Evans, and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Cheyenne Hills Church on Thursday, April 22, at 10:00, with Dr. Galen Huck officiating.

Carl Hunt Ropp, 92, passed away April 17, 2021, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.Carl was born in Glezen, Indiana, on June 18, 1928. He was the son of Azel and Hazel Ropp.

Carl retired from the Air Force in 1974, after which he went to work for Kelley’s Trailer Sales, where he worked until his second retirement. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and High Plains Drifters Motor Home Club. He was an avid woodworker, and many friends and family members would benefit from his beautiful creations. Carl was a Mason and a member of Cheyenne Lodge Number One.

Carl is survived by his wife, Marjorie Shannon Ropp, whom he married February 14, 2000. He is also survived by his children, Carl (Nancy) Ropp of Estes Park, Colorado, Teressa (Dallas) Remsberg of Provo, Utah, Sara (Cary) Weber of Cheyenne, and Edward (Stephanie) Ropp of Platteville, CO. His grandchildren are Nathan and Alec Weber of Cheyenne, Mandi Olsen of South Glen Falls, New York, Courtney (Taj) Wilson of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and Tanner Remsburg of Wilson, North Carolina. Carl is also survived by four stepdaughters, six step grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren, and one step great-great grandson.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Voris Lusk Ropp, whom he married January 13, 1951, his parents; his brother, Ervin Ropp; and sister, Irene Ropp Elmore.

Anne Lopach, 71, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away April 9, 2021 in Cheyenne.

Anne was born on January 10, 1950 in Great Falls, Montana to Margaret and Joseph Lopach. She grew up and attended school in Harlowton, Montana.

She graduated from the University of Montana in 1972 with a degree in Italian. After graduation, she studied in Perugia, Italy, and she lived for a short time in Germany.

Anne is survived by one sister, Mary, of Pueblo, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Patty, of Claremont, California; and six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and a nephew.

Anne had many friends in Wyoming, Montana and Arkansas and will be greatly missed by everyone.

No services are planned. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home, located at 2222 Russell Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
